Konjac noodles are a calorie & carbohydrate-free substitute for pasta, made from the root of the konjac plant. Konjac is a member of the yam family, and with no flavour at all, rice and noodles made from konjac are a perfect, filling addition to any meal – especially for those following a ketogenic diet. Konjac noodles are also known as shirataki noodles in Japan.

To serve, rinse konjac noodles under running water for 1 minute. Strain excess water and then add to your meal to heat them together OR immerse rinsed noodles in boiling water for 1 minute, and then serve with sauce, soup etc. Store konjac noodles at room temperature. Once opened, konjac noodles can be kept in the fridge for 3 days. Remember to NEVER freeze konjac rice or noodles.
